Progress after 2+ years on Protocel
I haven't been on the forum for awhile. Just thought I'd check in to post my progress and see what Elonna or anyone else advises.
I have passed my 2 year anniversary taking Protocel for an undiagnosed breast lump. I'm still well except for that the lump has risen to the surface and sits there. It seems bigger, but it's hard to tell since it was under more tissue at one time. In the last several months I've also lost (intentionally) about 25 pounds in a diet to eliminate sugar and refined starches as well as getting back to a healthy weight (I had passed into the overweight range for the first time in my life). Since my breasts lost some fat, that could also account for the increased prominence of the lump. At times there are little red pimples on the lump which seem to ooze slightly, but otherwise it seems to have no inclination to work it's way out, as Elonna suggested it might do. At least not yet.
Some good signs: For a year or so I've had a small painless hard lump in the inside right joint of my leg, where the lymph glands are. A few months ago another one appeared on the left side. Shortly after the left one appeared, it began to come to the surface. It erupted much like a boil and hurt a bit, but then healed with no more lump. A few weeks after that, the other lump -- which had been there for ages -- also began to surface. It worked it's way out and is now completely gone.
I also had noticed a small lump in the palm of my hand. It was hard, but kind of white and soft. A few months ago it turned vaguely red and began to get smaller. It never erupted like the other lumps, but I can no longer detect it.
Of course, I don't have a way to test any of this, but it seems to me that my body is ridding myself of anaerobic lumps since I drastically reduced my carb consumption. The lump on my breast is still sitting there however. It is a much bigger lump than the ones which came to the surface and healed. It is possibly just a residual mass with no cancer in it, as I think was what happened with Pam Hoeppner's breast lump. At least I'm hoping that's it. I'm wondering if anyone knows what should be done to get rid of this thing that is left over? It is very unsightly and I hate having to live my life worrying about hiding it from everyone.
